Y Station was attached to HMCS Givenchy at HMC Dockyard, Esquimalt, a shore facility. Personnel were bussed up daily to Gordon Head to this top secret facility. Men, later Wrens listened to Japanese signals and these were later sent to Americans for translation and intelligence.
